Russian Patty - 2003 15.3 h Thoroughbred Mare. An OTTB mare without enough speed to be competitive on the race track, Patty had approx. 6 months of "down-time" before being restarted under saddle. Very sensible and willing. Good Dresssage or Eventing prospect. Free shoulder, with a good extension, and uphill movement with good impulsion and self-carriage. Ridden on trails, and along roads, as well as around the farm. Walk, trots, and canters under saddle, takes both leads, and lunges both directions. This mare is an easy keeper with good feet, and she is well behaved for both vet and farrier. Loads and hauls well. Patty's left ear was injured as a foal, and after being stitched, ended up healing with a forward tilt to it. No injury done to her hearing! She just has a cute little forward tilting left ear now. (wink) And, no, Patty is NOT headshy! No beginners please!
